A Rust Writers Group

Could you elaborate on this a bit?

We are envisioning a team of technical writers to help other teams / ppl write blog posts to further share what they are working on.

Neat! I'm definitely interested in that

I think Rust in Linux is probably one that we should have as its own theme. (i.e., on its own)

I'm curious whether there are things going on in #t-devtools

So for right now, the game plan is to see if we can get Paul in to do a Rust in Linux talk. @Josh Triplett is reaching out to them, and we'll see what we hear back.

Ideally, this talk will be long enough to fill the whole CTCFT

Another thought of a possible topic: perhaps @Aidan Hobson Sayers you'd like to talk about charters?

We pushed the normal schedule back a week, so it will be on the fourth Monday (the 22nd), not the third.

We'll be having a longer single talk for this meetup. We've invited some of the people working to integrate Rust into the Linux kernel to come and speak.
