What do you think of this proposal? is there another subject in particular we should focus on?
Title: Building a flexible dependency solver in Rust
Abstract: Dependency solving is a hard problem, especially when mixed with additional features such as optional dependencies, multiple versions or availability of pre-releases. We present a rewrite from scratch of a recent algorithm called PubGrub, as a Rust library aiming at great performances and flexibility for reuse. We will dive into its core mechanisms, its high-level usage, as well as the ideas enabling behavioral extensions such as optional dependencies, entirely in user space without changing the library API.
With 20 mins that sounds like a good list to cover!
I will bother Natalie again tomorrow, let her know about the improvements to Guide and that we submitted to talk.
Great! let me know of the outcome of that discussion
You should have received a mail (I think) with the confirmation of the talk proposal. We can edit it until the deadline at the end of the month. But I should be much less available starting next week till the end of month so we better figure out what we want to update soonish so that I have the opportunity to change or complete it before deadline.
I'll regularly read email and come here but not often I think.
Accepted the invite!

You had suggested having a meeting, can you DM me some times that work for you?
A bit difficult to predict since I'm taking some holiday until end of August. I'll be with cousins then friends all the time starting this Saturday.
Enjoy your holiday!
There is no going back now XD
image.png To confirm, we have to indicate when we are available for presentation.
what time window does suit you? (UTC) @Eh2406
In my profile I put down 1200 - 2400 UTC.
Alright it says "confirmed" now for me so I think it was 1 schedule per presentation. I'm fine with those timings, and I highly doubt they put things as late as 24 anyway
Hey @Eh2406 what do you think of saying we do a rehearsal the week of October 18? That will motivate me next week to start preparing the slides.
And you could ask Nathalie if she's available that week to attend
I was browsing the announced talks for the conf and found this one: image.png
This will definitely be interesting as it's using the toolset at the base of what we are doing with pubgrub
Where is that list?
That is going to be an interesting talk!
