view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:05):

ok no worries, let's start

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:06):

i'll send calendar invites in advance from the next meeting onwards ( will be held first wed of the month at 16.00 UTC (same time as today))

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:07):

so we don't have much to discuss today: this is the agenda which covers things we didn't discuss at last month's meeting: https://hackmd.io/DZ2q4BlpRkSyf4RUxtil9g

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:08):

i'll jump first to:

view this post on Zulip Elinvynia (Jul 08 2020 at 16:09):

I think it could be more general like “PRs not upated in the amount of days according to the guidelines” so we have only one place to keep up to date

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:09):

since the team updates their reports now here, I generally don't check the form that frequently (or at all) and I think that's fine for now (don't think anyone checks it and most of the details are covered by the reports)

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:10):

so if you have concerns regarding prs you have skipped or so, you can dump them in the reports as well (Which some of you are already doing)

view this post on Zulip Charles Lew (Jul 08 2020 at 16:11):

sure~

view this post on Zulip Elinvynia (Jul 08 2020 at 16:11):

Alright

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:11):

feel free to throw in as much info as you want in the reports, it makes it easier to understand

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:12):

especially if you have skipped any prs, because you may have skipped them by mistake makes it easier for me to crosscheck

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:13):

so moving on:

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:13):

(i should have noted who added this point :stuck_out_tongue: )

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:14):

so any of you have any feedback with respect to triaging issues?

view this post on Zulip Elinvynia (Jul 08 2020 at 16:14):

Wasnt this discussed last meeting? Ill check

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:15):

i think we did. But if there's anything to be added

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:15):

also on that note:

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:15):

i think we may have discussed this, but there is a description on the labels page

view this post on Zulip Elinvynia (Jul 08 2020 at 16:16):

Yeah most labels do have one, which is nice.

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:16):

https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/labels

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:16):

i think forge might have something as well, I haven't checked

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:17):

but if you find any description that you wish can be updated or any label that's missing some documentation, and if you have don't access to change it, you can let me know

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:18):

i hink we discussed the rest of the agenda last time

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:18):

one important point : if you are closing a pr due to inactivity and you see a "relnotes" label attached to it, kindly remove the label as well

view this post on Zulip Elinvynia (Jul 08 2020 at 16:19):

I’ll note this for when I make the forge PR

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:19):

and if you find any prs that are linked to P-critical / p-high or nominated issues, mention it in the reports. The label is on the issue though not on the pr

view this post on Zulip Jonas Schievink [he/him] (Jul 08 2020 at 16:20):

Would be great if y'all could look out for PRs that qualify for relnotes-perf too, I tend to forget about that

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:20):

I normally do a scan during release week, but forgot to do it last time

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:21):

i think that's it from me, anyone has any feedback to add?

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:21):

the meetings in future are more likely to be like this, short 30 mins :grinning:

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:21):

(or 15-20 mins )

view this post on Zulip Elinvynia (Jul 08 2020 at 16:22):

Seems good :)

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:22):

also uhm, in case you missed it in the thread discussion - there's a change in schedule just for this month

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:23):

DPC said:

yep. Owen takes thursdays and Elinvynia takes saturday till end of July

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:23):

i'm not that too concerned about the schedule, as long as the work gets shared. So for the next meeting we can discuss whether we want to stick to the original one or continue with the july schedule

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:24):

i think that's it for this meeting then. thanks for attending

view this post on Zulip Charles Lew (Jul 08 2020 at 16:24):

thanks~

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:25):

the next meeting will be on 05.08.2020 at the same time (16.00 UTC). I'll send calendar invites that repeat and share the agenda in advance if you wish to add anything to it

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:26):

thanks and have a safe July ahead

view this post on Zulip DPC (Jul 08 2020 at 16:30):

for those who missed the meeting and want to share anything, you can put it here, i'll discuss it in next month's meeting or async-ly
