@WG-prioritization/alerts issue #81827 has been requested for prioritization.

Procedure

Hameer Abbasi (Feb 06 2021 at 15:08, on Zulip):

Bug with invalid code and a valid error before an a segfault abort. P-high IMO, if only to investigate the segfault abort.

Stu (Feb 06 2021 at 15:13, on Zulip):

It's not a segfault, it's an abort

Hameer Abbasi (Feb 06 2021 at 15:14, on Zulip):

Thanks, edited.

apiraino (Feb 10 2021 at 13:27, on Zulip):

@Hameer Abbasi why P-high? Is the reproducible sample actually valid code (like the reporter writes)?

Hameer Abbasi (Feb 10 2021 at 13:29, on Zulip):

It isn't, but an abort may point to unsound behaviour in the compiler itself.

apiraino (Feb 10 2021 at 13:31, on Zulip):

ah good point, thanks

apiraino (Feb 10 2021 at 13:33, on Zulip):

yeah probably this needs a closer ispection to figure out the implications

triagebot (Feb 10 2021 at 13:33, on Zulip):

Issue #81827's prioritization request has been removed.
