Topic: I-prioritize #79251 ICE when using const_evaluatable_checked

triagebot (Nov 24 2020 at 23:10, on Zulip):

@WG-prioritization/alerts issue #79251 has been requested for prioritization.

Procedure

Camelid (Nov 24 2020 at 23:10, on Zulip):

I know this is a nightly feature, but the bug disappears when incremental is turned off. Seems like there's a incr-comp bug somewhere as part of this?

Camelid (Nov 24 2020 at 23:19, on Zulip):

Indeed, the ICE occurs in the incr-comp hash (ICH) code.

lcnr (Nov 25 2020 at 09:10, on Zulip):

i expect this bug to happen when hashing a ConstEvaluatable predicate

lcnr (Nov 25 2020 at 09:10, on Zulip):

which only happens with const_evaluatable_checked

lcnr (Nov 25 2020 at 09:11, on Zulip):

I do not think that this can leak onto stable

Santiago Pastorino (Nov 25 2020 at 15:19, on Zulip):

so this is an incr-comp bug?

Santiago Pastorino (Nov 25 2020 at 15:19, on Zulip):

we should maybe tag it like that

Santiago Pastorino (Nov 25 2020 at 15:20, on Zulip):

ahh it's already done

Santiago Pastorino (Nov 25 2020 at 15:29, on Zulip):

I think I'd remove I-prioritize for this one

Santiago Pastorino (Nov 25 2020 at 15:29, on Zulip):

and leave it up for the incr wg

Okay, in that case I'll remove I-prioritize.
