triagebot (Oct 24 2020 at 14:52, on Zulip):

@WG-prioritization/alerts issue #78325 has been requested for prioritization.

Procedure

Joshua Nelson (Oct 24 2020 at 16:30, on Zulip):

P-medium IMO - it's a crash, but you have to do it intentionally

Camelid (Oct 24 2020 at 17:06, on Zulip):

Yeah, that sounds good. Plus the ICE goes back to Rust 1.33.

Camelid (Oct 24 2020 at 17:08, on Zulip):

You really have to do it intentionally since removing the call to core::panic! (which is not allowed in the position it was in) doesn't ICE (but it does error):

macro_rules! define_other_core {
    ( ) => {
        extern crate std as core;
    };
}
define_other_core!();
Joshua Nelson (Oct 24 2020 at 17:44, on Zulip):

the position is not relevant to the ICE: https://play.rust-lang.org/?version=stable&mode=debug&edition=2018&gist=5f8f0aafecd38ef512cd67ed1be442aa

Camelid (Oct 24 2020 at 18:19, on Zulip):

Ah, didn't realize that

triagebot (Oct 25 2020 at 01:41, on Zulip):

Issue #78325's prioritization request has been removed.

Yuki Okushi (Oct 25 2020 at 01:41, on Zulip):

the issue is fixed on master before prioritizing, just dropped the I-prioritize
