Topic: I-prioritize #73431 ICE: MIR const-checker found novel struc

triagebot (Jul 01 2020 at 19:47, on Zulip):

@WG-prioritization/alerts issue #73431 has been requested for prioritization.

Procedure

LeSeulArtichaut (Jul 01 2020 at 19:48, on Zulip):

Downgrade from P-critical as the issue was fixed and beta-backported. I still labeled this as I-prioritize to see if this needs to be re-prioritized.

Wesley Wiser (Jul 01 2020 at 19:55, on Zulip):

At this point, this issue is nightly-only and requires unstable compiler options to trigger so I think this is maybe P-medium.

lcnr (Jul 01 2020 at 20:07, on Zulip):

I also think P-medium is fine there. While this is an interesting and relevant design problem, it shouldn't have any impact on current stable users.

unstable compiler options to trigger

Doesn't this just require RUSTC_LOG=warn to "trigger", i.e. emit a warning

triagebot (Jul 01 2020 at 20:08, on Zulip):

Issue #73431's prioritization request has been removed.

Wesley Wiser (Jul 01 2020 at 20:22, on Zulip):

@lcnr Yep, sorry! I posted this in the wrong stream.

lcnr (Jul 02 2020 at 09:28, on Zulip):

I just realised ecstatic-morse opened a new issue #73448 for the remaining work here, will close this issue and moveP-medium over to the new one if noone disagrees here.

did you close the issue already? I think you were talking about #73431, right?
