@WG-prioritization/alerts issue #73431 has been requested for prioritization.
I-nominated
?Downgrade from P-critical
as the issue was fixed and beta-backported. I still labeled this as I-prioritize
to see if this needs to be re-prioritized.
At this point, this issue is nightly-only and requires unstable compiler options to trigger so I think this is maybe P-medium
.
I also think P-medium
is fine there. While this is an interesting and relevant design problem, it shouldn't have any impact on current stable users.
unstable compiler options to trigger
Doesn't this just require RUSTC_LOG=warn to "trigger", i.e. emit a warning
Issue #73431's prioritization request has been removed.
@lcnr Yep, sorry! I posted this in the wrong stream.
I just realised ecstatic-morse opened a new issue #73448 for the remaining work here, will close this issue and moveP-medium
over to the new one if noone disagrees here.
