@WG-prioritization/alerts issue #80098 has been requested for prioritization.

Procedure

Camelid (Dec 17 2020 at 00:37, on Zulip):

Probably P-medium or P-high

Camelid (Dec 20 2020 at 22:28, on Zulip):

bump

Léo Lanteri Thauvin (Dec 20 2020 at 22:28, on Zulip):

When did this regress?

Camelid (Dec 20 2020 at 22:29, on Zulip):

Not sure.

Camelid (Dec 20 2020 at 22:30, on Zulip):

It's hard to bisect hangs.

Léo Lanteri Thauvin (Dec 20 2020 at 22:30, on Zulip):

Ah, yes, right

Léo Lanteri Thauvin (Dec 20 2020 at 22:30, on Zulip):

Author apparently reproduced it on 1.47.0

Camelid (Dec 20 2020 at 22:31, on Zulip):

Testing with Godbolt now.

Léo Lanteri Thauvin (Dec 20 2020 at 22:31, on Zulip):

Good luck :D

Camelid (Dec 20 2020 at 22:32, on Zulip):

Based on testing with Godbolt, the hang was introduced between 1.46 and 1.47.

apiraino (Dec 23 2020 at 11:36, on Zulip):

I'd asssign a P-medium. I think a function recursively calling itself and avoid the compiler limit is not an urgent problem, still something worth tracking

Camelid (Dec 23 2020 at 20:59, on Zulip):

(apiraino assigned P-medium)
