I don't know if this is intended or not, so probably worth waiting to prioritize until we know.
I agree that the error message is deeply confusing. Personally, if I were to learn about
Vec, I would go to the
std::vec page of the documentation, not the the
alloc::vec (which I can't tell the difference by comparing the introductory paragraph). I've learned about
alloc::vec 5 minutes ago when reading this issue :smiley:
This said, I would say it's more an issue of "ergonomics" (as in: don't surprise me with strange messages), therefore a
P-lowif I were to assign a priority.
