@WG-prioritization/alerts issue #77410 has been requested for prioritization.
Those are all tier 2 platforms
I'd say P-high maybe?
Seems too high for me but maybe I’m underestimating the importance of backtraces
I've had issues running UI tests on macOS x64... maybe I should open an issue
@Camelid Failures on macOS should have been caught by bors though
I'm running a build right now to see what the exact tests were
@LeSeulArtichaut Yep, two tests failed. Opened #77424.
Camelid Failures on macOS should have been caught by bors though
I think macOS builds were turned off.
Weren’t they disabled only on GitHub Actions and enabled on Azure, or something like that?
Well we can probably ask someone from
T-infra I think, cc @simulacrum
See #77423's checks; I only see Ubuntu:
That's only CI checks, only bors runs the full testsuite on all tier 1 targets when merging the PR
I learned something new about bors today!
Yeah, it does seem that macOS is being run in Azure...
yeah CI is "minimal", while bors at the end runs the entire testsuite across all targets which is why PRs take 2-3 hours to get merged
Should the T-libs team be pinged about this? Or perhaps someone else?
this one needs prioritization
do we have an idea about the right priority? ping someone, maybe? or maybe give a
I-nominate to have the team briefly talk about that?
P-high and a nominate sounds good
Thoughts @Santiago Pastorino?
my first reaction was similar to @LeSeulArtichaut's one
but anyway, if 2 of us think this is
P-high and 2 others thinks it is
P-medium I'd rather label it as
because if you people are right and we label this one as
P-medium we won't be ringing the right alarms by labelling with a lower priority
@Camelid if you can go ahead and tag it with
P-high then :+1:
I don't know much about the backtrace code, I just think it might make sense to have higher priority so someone who knows looks into it
Issue #77410's prioritization request has been removed.
we may need to see how much stuff we have in the agenda but still nominations go last so ... :+1:
So, the T-compiler didnt have a lot to say about this issue. @Santiago Pastorino I see the issue is tagged with
O-SystemZ. Who else should be ping more relevant to the issue scope?
we can leave it nominated for next week
