triagebot (Nov 12 2020 at 14:22, on Zulip):

@WG-prioritization/alerts issue #78979 has been requested for prioritization.

Procedure

apiraino (Nov 12 2020 at 14:27, on Zulip):

mmm ... issue reporter seems to point to a indexmap library regression

Joshua Nelson (Nov 12 2020 at 14:30, on Zulip):

I don't understand - what does this have to do with the compiler? Are they reusing vendored rustc dependencies to build other projects? That seems like a bad idea

Hameer Abbasi (Nov 12 2020 at 14:33, on Zulip):

If that's correct, then we only commit to non-breaking public API, not non-breaking internals. So I'd just close this issue.

Joshua Nelson (Nov 12 2020 at 15:02, on Zulip):

well we should figure out what's going on first

DPC (Nov 12 2020 at 16:33, on Zulip):

we can't close the issue - it could be a side effect of a bug on the rust side

Santiago Pastorino (Nov 18 2020 at 20:13, on Zulip):

bump, this is not prioritized yet

Santiago Pastorino (Nov 18 2020 at 20:13, on Zulip):

just in case, I'm naively taking a first look at unprioritized issues

Santiago Pastorino (Nov 18 2020 at 20:28, on Zulip):

I'm not sure how to prioritize this one to be honest but it's already handled

Santiago Pastorino (Nov 18 2020 at 20:28, on Zulip):

a patch seems to be included for tomorrow stable and we would be tracking the beta regression that we have after we release a new stable version

Santiago Pastorino (Nov 18 2020 at 20:29, on Zulip):

if I were to say something I'd say P-medium

Santiago Pastorino (Nov 18 2020 at 20:30, on Zulip):

I guess it depends on how important do we consider mips

Santiago Pastorino (Nov 18 2020 at 20:33, on Zulip):

mips is tier 2

Santiago Pastorino (Nov 18 2020 at 20:48, on Zulip):

thoughts?

lcnr (Nov 18 2020 at 20:52, on Zulip):

hmm, P-high maybe  also not sure

Santiago Pastorino (Nov 18 2020 at 20:53, on Zulip):

hehe these are hard

DPC (Nov 18 2020 at 21:46, on Zulip):

p-medium seems fine to me
