Topic: Form t-compiler/wg-parser-library compiler-team#338

triagebot (Jul 28 2020 at 20:28, on Zulip):

A new proposal has been announced: #338. It will be announced at the next meeting to try and draw attention to it, but usually MCPs are not discussed during triage meetings. If you think this would benefit from discussion amongst the team, consider proposing a design meeting.

triagebot (Aug 13 2020 at 14:07, on Zulip):

@T-compiler: Proposal #338 has been seconded, and will be approved in 10 days if no objections are raised.

matklad (Aug 25 2020 at 12:50, on Zulip):

Hm, I think more than 10 days has passed since the prposal was seconded. is the bot stuck? or is the info about 10 days out of date?

Joshua Nelson (Aug 25 2020 at 13:10, on Zulip):

accepting it isn't automatic, usually @Santiago Pastorino accepts it the day of the compiler meeting (thursdays)

Santiago Pastorino (Aug 25 2020 at 13:14, on Zulip):

right, tomorrow I’ll make a pass

triagebot (Aug 26 2020 at 20:13, on Zulip):

This proposal has been accepted: #338.

PR which adds wg to the teams repo: https://github.com/rust-lang/compiler-team/pull/352

nikomatsakis (Aug 28 2020 at 15:11, on Zulip):

Thanks. BTW, @matklad we probably also want a PR like this one to add the group to teh teams repo. This will put it on the website and also creates a github alias, so that we can e.g. give access rights to a repository or other things.

nikomatsakis (Aug 28 2020 at 15:11, on Zulip):

And you would like a t-compiler/wg-parser-lib zulip stream?

matklad (Aug 28 2020 at 15:14, on Zulip):

Yes, having a dedicated zulip stream is actually the main thing I want, all the rest is just so that I can have one :P

matklad (Aug 28 2020 at 15:14, on Zulip):

Thanks!

nikomatsakis (Aug 28 2020 at 15:14, on Zulip):

lol ok well #t-compiler/wg-parselib exists

nikomatsakis (Aug 28 2020 at 15:15, on Zulip):

We don't have to do the team repo thing necessarily though at some point I want to streamline and document this process. I suspect ideally that would be the only place we make any change (and the rest follows by automation...)
