LeSeulArtichaut (May 19 2020 at 10:50, on Zulip):

Let's tag as E-needs-bisection and ping the LLVM-ICE-breakers?

LeSeulArtichaut (May 19 2020 at 11:11, on Zulip):

Done

Santiago Pastorino (May 19 2020 at 17:05, on Zulip):

I'm going over I-prioritize issues

Santiago Pastorino (May 19 2020 at 17:05, on Zulip):

this one is pending

Santiago Pastorino (May 19 2020 at 17:05, on Zulip):

I'd say P-medium

Santiago Pastorino (May 19 2020 at 17:05, on Zulip):

but seems like an LLVM issue

LeSeulArtichaut (May 19 2020 at 17:06, on Zulip):

Hanna Kruppe did some investigation

Santiago Pastorino (May 19 2020 at 17:06, on Zulip):

yeah

Santiago Pastorino (May 19 2020 at 17:06, on Zulip):

We could try filing an LLVM bug report but tbh I'm pessimistic about how easy it is to fix this and how important such a fix would be, realistically speaking. (Is this example distilled from a more realistic program? Does the redundant test cause a measurable performance problem there?)

Santiago Pastorino (May 19 2020 at 17:07, on Zulip):

based on that and a later comment is why I'm saying P-medium

LeSeulArtichaut (May 19 2020 at 17:08, on Zulip):

I agree, it's been there for a long time and it's probably not really actionable on our part

triagebot (May 19 2020 at 17:11, on Zulip):

Issue #72343's prioritization request has been removed.
