Stream: t-compiler/wg-prioritization

Topic: What is "prioritization"?

RalfJ (Apr 11 2020 at 06:37, on Zulip):

I saw this stream pop up recently and now it seems there is a triagebot command for this. But even as someone closely following plenty of Rust communication channels I have no idea what this new "priorization" process is and who is doing what with which goal here. Has that been written down somewhere?

LeSeulArtichaut (Apr 11 2020 at 11:15, on Zulip):

I think the group was created with the intention of doing the pre-triage

LeSeulArtichaut (Apr 11 2020 at 11:15, on Zulip):

Check the master document and our procedure

simulacrum (Apr 11 2020 at 12:20, on Zulip):

Basically it's just a dedicated group for what used to be pre-triage for compiler team meetings

RalfJ (Apr 12 2020 at 06:55, on Zulip):

ah I see, I somehow missed the t-compiler prefix here -- that makes sense, thanks!

Santiago Pastorino (Apr 13 2020 at 16:09, on Zulip):

@RalfJ also the working group is documented in the compiler-team page

RalfJ (Apr 13 2020 at 16:16, on Zulip):

That would be https://rust-lang.github.io/compiler-team/working-groups/prioritization/ ? Nice :D
