Hey, I've been prototyping on a few things for the Rust website, and I have a prototype I'd like people to have a look at. Note What's shown here is not promised to be go on the actual website, or even look similar if it does. It's just a UI/UX prototype. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1NJ_rsI5gClFF1Oe8oHEPeS55HbcNxJ1E?usp=sharing

I'd avoid the search bar: it doesn't make much sense that our website is a dynamic web application, and I'd prefer not to have features hard to port to a static website
what do you think the "nightly" button would point to?
and just bikeshedding, I'd prefer less rounded borders and shadows
Well a search bar doesn't imply it's a dynamic web application. The search by is inspired by Dart that has a Google custom search for all of their websites. https://dart.dev/search?cx=011220921317074318178%3A_yy-tmb5t_i&ie=UTF-8&hl=en&q=Rust
My expectation on the nightly button was just a different Rustup install command that installs nightly by default.
Whoops this is in the wrong stream.
