In https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/issues/67907 I asked for
try_lock to be added to the standard IO handles.
Is this reasonable? Should I put in a PR? Seems like it'd be a fairly simple change (though I don't know how to add a feature flag).
What is the intended use case for this?
To be able to attempt to grab the handle in question without blocking if it's not currently available.
