Topic: Accepting vector types in vector registers?

Josh Triplett (May 16 2020 at 05:35, on Zulip):

If I'm interpreting the RFC correctly, it sounds like types such as core::arch::x86_64::__m128i, core::arch::x86_64::__m256d, and so on would be allowed in asm! as inputs or outputs via an appropriately sized register. If that's the case, then if it isn't too much trouble, could you add to the mention of "SIMD vectors" an explicit note giving such types as examples of what will work?
