Hi, my name is Amanjeev but you can call me Aman. I am a member of @\WG-Learning group for now. Saw this message for helping out with easy low-hanging fruit in Rustc and decided to show up. I I have not really contributed to rustc much and barely get to write any Rust formally but interested in being a part of the team and see if I can do something to help.

cool Aman, do you want to do the exercise of looking for something tagged as E-easy and maybe E-mentor too?

Santiago Pastorino (Oct 25 2019 at 14:46, on Zulip):

then you can open a stream about the issue somewhere, doesn't need to be on this stream, can be on #t-compiler/help depending on what you plan to talk about

Santiago Pastorino (Oct 25 2019 at 14:46, on Zulip):

we can probably ping the mentor if you choose an E-mentor ticket

Amanjeev Sethi (Oct 25 2019 at 14:58, on Zulip):

Sounds good to me!

Amanjeev Sethi (Oct 25 2019 at 15:02, on Zulip):

So the way to acknowledge is to open a stream first or comment on the issue?

Santiago Pastorino (Oct 25 2019 at 15:17, on Zulip):

first comment on the issue that you want to tackle it

Santiago Pastorino (Oct 25 2019 at 15:17, on Zulip):

I think even @rustbot claim should work

Amanjeev Sethi (Oct 25 2019 at 15:18, on Zulip):

Sweet

Santiago Pastorino (Oct 25 2019 at 15:18, on Zulip):

but you can comment on the issue and open a thread on #t-compiler/help saying so and maybe pinging the people involved in the issue
