@mark-i-m I've just approved some PRs but CI is giving some timeout errors, have tried re-running tests with no luck unsure if you or @Pietro Albini know how to fix this
do you have any links?
There were 3 broken links: 331 hir.md#109: There was an error while fetching "https://doc.rust-lang.org/nightly/nightly-rustc/rustc/hir/map/struct.Map.html#methods", https://doc.rust-lang.org/nightly/nightly-rustc/rustc/hir/map/struct.Map.html#methods: timed out 332 borrow_check/two_phase_borrows.md#61: There was an error while fetching "https://doc.rust-lang.org/nightly/nightly-rustc/rustc/mir/enum.BorrowKind.html", https://doc.rust-lang.org/nightly/nightly-rustc/rustc/mir/enum.BorrowKind.html: timed out 333 appendix/code-index.md#12: There was an error while fetching "https://doc.rust-lang.org/nightly/nightly-rustc/rustc/hir/struct.Crate.html", https://doc.rust-lang.org/nightly/nightly-rustc/rustc/hir/struct.Crate.html: timed out
@Pietro Albini ^^^
that's probably travis's network being unreliable
Sorry, I haven't had much time to look at this. This has been a consistent problem for the last couple of weeks, where various links from the rustc rustdocs fail (often not the same ones) by timing out.
Does anyone know if this would be a problem with Azure Pipelines?
It's gotten really bad, and it will only get worse as the guide gets bigger...
@mark-i-m Seeing that you made https://github.com/rust-lang/rustc-guide/pull/416, I was wondering if it could be the mdbook-linkcheck quitting early
Ok, I see there is an issue open https://github.com/Michael-F-Bryan/mdbook-linkcheck/issues/12
@Tshepang Lekhonkhobe Yes, that issue would be the ideal solution (well, actually, it would be better if the internet Just Worked :P)
For now, the hack seems to be working
