Currently the scope of this potential working group is quite broad. I think that this working group is getting productive it is required to focus on fewer things. (At least for the start.) Out of the initial discourse thread I see the following different themes:
Connecting with existing databases:
* Relational databases
* NoSQL databases
Building tools on top of those connections
I think in the beginning we should focus on of those points. My pick would be 2.1 building Connections to existing relational databases.
I like the idea to have subteams for these scopes. i.e. we have "integration", "from-scratch" (please come up with a better name :grimacing:) and what should probably be called "async liaison" -- talking to the async-wg about things that the others need, doing general collaboration on tools, etc
