Hey @WG-async-foundations =)
Add more context when trying to write async trait function #65899
Has an existing PR, nice
I'll just mark as triaged then
which reminds me, I never adjusted the searches the way I wanted to
I guess you can't construct a github search for "is assigned to someone"
without saying who the someone is?
oh well, I'll go over assigned issues manually then
Anybody who's attending (maybe just @davidtwco, based on the  above...) got any updates?
I posted a blog post about async fn in traits, which was my main deliverable for last week :)
This week I expect to post a follow-up post
And probably draft a blog post for the main rust blog about async fn hitting stable (though that's not needed till next week)
I’ve not spent much more time on the diagnostic issue. Main issues are just having it apply to more cases and correctly handling cases where the drop isn’t at the end of the scope.
I failed to follow up with your questions
So maybe I will try to do that, too
(Though I’ve not confirmed that the latter is an issue)
let me add that to my list of things to do -- it would be tomorrow morning
maybe I'll start a build going now of your branch though :)
well, it's quiet this week -- that suits me fine...
anybody looking for things to do?
I don’t think I’ll have time this week to take on anything else.
Hi guys, sorry I missed this. Daylight savings here in London. Not much to report from my end other than the fact that I'm working though the rustc book and the codebase and things are making sense. Hopefully I will be able to make a meaningful contribution by this time next week.
