Ok, I guess we have no meeting this week either, but continuing the tradition, I can report that this week I have:
- done most of the paperwork (I hope)
- tried to use or adapt Crater to run
cargo checktimed benchmarks on my own versions of rustc, then given up and written my own script for this in Python (still WIP but mostly working I think, though I am a bit confused about proper experiment isolation and the use of
cargo cleanto only remove build artifacts for the current code, and not for fetched dependencies)
- spent a lot of time in the rustc code trying to interface it with the new Polonius code, follow the liveness calculation, and figure out how to use that to generate the new
I would also like to, if possible, discuss other meeting times, as these meetings now happen 10 pm in my time zone due to DST.
All in all, it's not precisely been my most productive week so far.
