Topic: Code assists part of language-server or vs code specific?

Sorry for user question -- I think we don't have a user discussion forum so using this stream instead. I'm wondering if code assists that rust-analyzer provides are a vs code specific feature, or standard in language-server. I looked at language-server protocol specification, but couldn't see anything related.

We actually have one since yesterday: https://github.com/rust-analyzer/rust-analyzer/pull/4646/files :)

Assists are in LSP (though we implement a couple of extensions on top)
