Topic: gen-syntax alters newlines

Jeremy Kolb (Sep 05 2019 at 14:21, on Zulip):

On Windows I'm seeing cargo gen-syntax always needing to be run before a cargo test. It alters new lines. A cargo format run fixes that essentially reverting the change. This does not happen with cargo gen-tests.

@Jeremy Kolb should be fixed by https://github.com/rust-analyzer/rust-analyzer/pull/1766

Hiya! I wanted to ask a slightly uninformed question. I was interested in adding support for macros like tokio::test/runtime::test to the runnables in https://github.com/rust-analyzer/rust-analyzer/blob/7d72ca80003b7915ed7fc64907b5b6dc5c88dacd/crates/ra_ide_api/src/runnables.rs#L39 as part of the "test" runnables, but I'm not sure if I should send a PR for that _or_ wait for proc macro expansion with a mechanism similar to https://github.com/rust-analyzer/rust-analyzer/issues/688#issuecomment-504171869
