@Laurențiu Nicola I still can't get the panic in my machine even I switch to nightly. I am using Windows, maybe it is the different ?

Laurențiu (Dec 20 2020 at 07:36, on Zulip):

Possibly. I'm using a random nightly (2020-12-09). Maybe there's been another proc macro ABI change? I seen to recall an issue about it.

Edwin Cheng (Dec 20 2020 at 07:41, on Zulip):

Im using 2020-12-19 nightly, let me change to 2020-12-09 and test it again

Edwin Cheng (Dec 20 2020 at 07:59, on Zulip):

No luck, I still cant reproduce that even in 2020-12-09 nightly :(

Edwin Cheng (Dec 21 2020 at 19:53, on Zulip):

I finally can reproduce it when using wsl and nightly rustc ! I will take a look later.

Edwin Cheng (Dec 27 2020 at 09:47, on Zulip):

Yeah, after tons of gdb debugging, the error is very simple actually. They changed the abi in https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/pull/75082. And the changed is also landed in stable 1.48, so I will make a PR for that.
