Topic: ra_lsp_server not running

Dhs92 (Dec 07 2019 at 01:41, on Zulip):

I am running RA in a remote environment, using WSL1. It would seem that even after installing ra_lsp_server separately, the server isn't starting when I run VSC and open a .rs file. I'm getting a TS error when opening VSC, see here:

I have already tried setting the rust-analyzer.raLspServerPath to where the binary was installed and this did not resolve the issue.
Anyone have any ideas?

VSC Version: 1.40.2
RA Version: master branch, pulled this afternoon
WSL Ver: Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS

Edit: Note, also updated Stable and Nightly to latest & tried building with both, no luck

Fixed the issue by updating NodeJS and doing a clean compile. It would seem that Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS uses NodeJS 8.x, which I did not realize (should've checked :> )
