Topic: warming up from the command line

Jake Goulding (Jun 04 2021 at 17:51, on Zulip):

When I come back to a project that I haven't touched in a while, I like to do something equivalent to cargo clean && cargo build --all --all-targets as a way to get everything primed.

Is there a command I could do to get r-a ready to go as well, before I even open my editor?

You can theoretically start r-a before the editor and connect to it later

Also, r-a will run cargo check, so you can prime that manually

someday we'll get the sharing between check and build, sigh
