error[E0609]: no field `optimize_attribute` on type `&feature_gate::Features`0: syntax

what’s that 0: syntax ought to mean?

nagisa (Nov 02 2018 at 11:41, on Zulip):

ohhh, this probably gonna be the glorious and awesome cargo’s progress bar… a chunk of it, that is.

nvmd me.

Esteban Küber (Nov 02 2018 at 18:17, on Zulip):

That's... unfortunate

Esteban Küber (Nov 02 2018 at 18:18, on Zulip):

We have some plans to split out the rustc output and the term handling into two so that cargo can recreate it on its end to avoid these kind of problems, but that won't happen any time soon.

Hi.
Is there any way to add some spacing between diagnostic messages?

Vadim Petrochenkov (Nov 05 2018 at 01:08, on Zulip):

Basically I want to turn this

error: x is ambiguous
note: x may mean variant 1
help: do this if you want variant 1
note: x may also mean variant 2
help: do that if you want variant 2

so it's grouped and reads a bit better.
So far my attempts to insert newlines and fillers didn't lead to anything reasonably looking.

Esteban Küber (Dec 13 2018 at 22:14, on Zulip):

The only thing I can think of that would work without changing how we emit diagnostics would be to append a newline after the first help
