So the book is finally available online: https://rust-lang.github.io/unsafe-code-guidelines/

I've submitted a PR to update the readme a bit: https://github.com/rust-lang/unsafe-code-guidelines/pull/132
You can see the readme rendered here: https://github.com/gnzlbg/unsafe-code-guidelines/blob/readme_update/README.md

awesome :D

RalfJ (May 25 2019 at 14:45, on Zulip):

we should probably also not have the glossary as start page?

gnzlbg (May 25 2019 at 14:56, on Zulip):

I think that would be good

RalfJ (May 25 2019 at 15:29, on Zulip):

why is it used as start page anyway?

RalfJ (May 25 2019 at 15:29, on Zulip):

maybe that should be a copy of the README or so? not sure

gnzlbg (May 26 2019 at 21:28, on Zulip):

the glossary is just set as the first chapter of the book, we can change that, but for now, at least things work

Tom Phinney (May 26 2019 at 22:32, on Zulip):

While a short introduction could come first, I believe that the current structure – the generalized glossary information before more-detailed subchapters – better educates first-time (or infrequent) readers on the issues. People who frequently use unsafe may not need this structure, but hopefully those people are rather rare.
