Topic: disabling debugger tests

matklad (Jul 03 2019 at 10:19, on Zulip):

[debuginfo-gdb+lldb] always fail on my machine on ./x.py test, presumably because I have wrong gdb/lldb installed. Is there something I can put into config.toml to always just skip those tests?

pnkfelix (Jul 03 2019 at 10:52, on Zulip):

you can give arguments to ./x.py test to indicate which directories to test

pnkfelix (Jul 03 2019 at 10:52, on Zulip):

but then you have to keep that list in sync with whatever the current default is

pnkfelix (Jul 03 2019 at 10:53, on Zulip):

I don't know if there's a way to subtract from the default; it would be nice if there were an easy way to do that, I suppose.

simulacrum (Jul 03 2019 at 10:57, on Zulip):

You can simply do --exclude src/test/debuginfo for example

@pnkfelix @matklad ^

Perfect, thanks!
