Topic: lexical_regions_resolve

Is lexical_regions_resolve part of the pre-NLL code and bound to go away soon? I'm dabbling around with the expansion() code and have I rather simple patch that cuts the item_bodies check time for the unicode_normalization crate in half by stripping out rules that won't have any effect in further iterations during the fixed point calculation. But just now I noticed that I'm in lexical land, so I wonder whether it's actually worth spending any (more) time on that

It is supposed to be removed at some point, but for now it's always run, whether or not NLL is enabled.

@Björn Steinbrink I do expect it to go away but not sure on what schedule. I wouldn't go crazy but if you have simple patches to make improvements, seems good
