So Josh Tripplet would like to have a meeting to talk about Tier policy -- he is leaving Sep 27 - Oct 27 for vacation -- I was thinking we could use Friday the 20th for that, which I had scheduled for "ICE-breaker"... what do people think about that? cc @T-compiler/meeting
cc @Josh Triplett
whose name I shamefully mispelled ;)
Thanks, @nikomatsakis! I'll file an issue about this.
great, drop a link here and i'll adjust the calendar
I wrote up a straw proposal for policies, just to give us a starting point to work from.
Thanks @Josh Triplett -- I've scheduled this.
You said 10am Eastern, 7am Pacific?
Correct. You should have a calendar invite. The calendar event is here.
Thanks! I'll be there.
So that I can prepare for the meeting in advance, does anyone happen to know where the configuration lives that tells rustup what targets to build binaries for (tier 2 targets)?
ah, that's not in rustup
unless I misunderstood?
The configuration for what binaries we build is spread out in
src/ci in rust-lang/rust
rustup binaries are built separately (I am not too familiar with that though)
