Topic: fail-fast mode for `./x.py test`

matklad (Sep 16 2019 at 19:28, on Zulip):

Is it possible to make ./x.py test stop on the first test failure? I don't see anything relevant in ./x.py test --help

simulacrum (Sep 16 2019 at 19:45, on Zulip):

I think x.py test itself will, but e.g. compiletest currently won't

simulacrum (Sep 16 2019 at 19:45, on Zulip):

maybe there's a flag for compiletest though?

matklad (Sep 16 2019 at 19:51, on Zulip):

Does'nt look like it. By accidntly learned about --pass check, which I think should help me to get the result I want faster...

pnkfelix (Sep 17 2019 at 08:59, on Zulip):

huh, that sounds like something that we should support. Sort of amazing that we hadn't put it into compiletest before.
