BTW, @WG-compiler-nll, I think it'd be useful to do an NLL "retrospective" -- basically a 1hr look back on what went right/wrong and maybe a good way to look towards the future. I'd be up for trying to schedule it. The main question I have is :

But maybe I should let doodle handle that.

Thoughts?

I like the idea, I can do December or January.

nikomatsakis (Dec 17 2018 at 14:42, on Zulip):

I would probably run it kind of like the first compiler steering meeting:

nikomatsakis (Dec 17 2018 at 14:43, on Zulip):

Sound good?

davidtwco (Dec 17 2018 at 14:43, on Zulip):

Yeah, I wouldn't do the voting on the survey the same as the first steering meeting though :mischievous:

nikomatsakis (Dec 17 2018 at 14:44, on Zulip):

heh, yeah, that was a bit chaotic. I'm open to suggestions =)

nikomatsakis (Dec 17 2018 at 14:44, on Zulip):

we could use Ye Olde Emoji Vote on Zulip

nikomatsakis (Dec 17 2018 at 14:44, on Zulip):

anyway not that big a deal

Santiago Pastorino (Dec 17 2018 at 14:48, on Zulip):

I like the idea too

Santiago Pastorino (Dec 17 2018 at 14:48, on Zulip):

it's better for me december but in january it may work too, a bit more complicated to schedule

blitzerr (Dec 17 2018 at 14:50, on Zulip):

I haven't been with nll for that long so won't have much thoughts. But this is a great thing to do, look back and Dec is a great time for it( or Jan)
