Topic: RC triage

I think I plan to basically move all the RC issues to RC2 -- basically, are any of them truly blockers to putting out a release candidate? I feel comfortable having NLL as is being part of the RC, personally, though I'd like to fix the ICEs + type annotations I think.

there doesn't seem to be some exceptionally dangerous blockers from those (list is here)

(agreed about ICEs + #47184)

Yeah the only one I’d be on the fence about is type annotations

pnkfelix (Sep 05 2018 at 20:09, on Zulip):

But I’m fine if we punt that to RC2. Just gotta make sure it’s resolved by then I think

If we could get a document writing up limitations/expectations for RC that'd be great -- make it easier for us to package it up into blog post or just be able to answer questions
