Topic: Doc tests for std

Jethro (Apr 17 2019 at 00:42, on Zulip):

How do I (cross-)compile & run the doc tests for std?

Jethro (Apr 17 2019 at 00:42, on Zulip):

I tried ./x.py test --stage 1 --target x86_64-fortanix-unknown-sgx src/libstd --doc

Jethro (Apr 17 2019 at 00:43, on Zulip):

that compiles rustdoc for my host and std for my target, but it never actually runs rustdoc

Jethro (Apr 17 2019 at 00:43, on Zulip):

running the unit tests works fine

QuietMisdreavus (Apr 17 2019 at 00:44, on Zulip):

cross-compiling doctests is currently not supported

QuietMisdreavus (Apr 17 2019 at 00:44, on Zulip):

in general

Jethro (Apr 17 2019 at 00:45, on Zulip):

oh

QuietMisdreavus (Apr 17 2019 at 00:45, on Zulip):

so it's probably skipping the doctests since you provided the --target
