Topic: docs.rs query URL?

Arlie Davis (Apr 17 2020 at 20:08, on Zulip):

Is it possible to build a URL that goes directly to a docs.rs search? I use docs.rs about a bazillion times a day (thank you x1000 to everyone who contributes to it), and so I'd like to set up a search provider in Chrome to be able to do searches more quickly.

https://docs.rs/releases/search?query=%s should work

Thanks!

As an aside, there's also a built-in search in DuckDuckGo: !docsrs searches docs.rs, !cargo searches crates.io, and !rust searches Rust documentation.

(Helps if you don't want to set up the same search providers in multiple places.)

In case you use firefox, u can right click on the searchbar of docs.rs and Add a keyword for this Search..
