Iñaki Garay (Apr 21 2019 at 19:26, on Zulip):

Does anyone have a sense if there is some linux distribution used by a majority of rustc developers?

Santiago Pastorino (Apr 21 2019 at 20:52, on Zulip):

no idea, but why do you think that's important?

Santiago Pastorino (Apr 21 2019 at 20:52, on Zulip):

I use Arch Linux btw :)

davidtwco (Apr 21 2019 at 20:55, on Zulip):

I’ve used Arch in the past. I use NixOS now (which is just me making my life difficult). I think any common distribution works.

RalfJ (Apr 21 2019 at 21:54, on Zulip):

I'm on Debian testing, FWIW

nagisa (Apr 21 2019 at 22:29, on Zulip):

I use arch and nixos. Arch is more traditional, nixos is nice if you value the things it provides

Iñaki Garay (Apr 22 2019 at 00:01, on Zulip):

I'm using voidlinux atm and have run into two separate issues with incorrectly linked .so libraries

asking because I want a frictionless experience even if I have to swallow systemd and other personal preferences

Jake Goulding (Apr 22 2019 at 01:53, on Zulip):

@Santiago Pastorino please tell me you are deliberately quoting the meme :-)

Santiago Pastorino (Apr 22 2019 at 02:19, on Zulip):

@Jake Goulding which meme? link?

Santiago Pastorino (Apr 22 2019 at 02:28, on Zulip):

I’m not really a fan of these kind of things

Santiago Pastorino (Apr 22 2019 at 02:29, on Zulip):

I like Archlinux, but I’ve asked because I don’t think it matters
