Got subscribed to rust-lang/rust I think I’m gonna get flooded to death lol

centril (Sep 26 2019 at 20:11, on Zulip):

that happens from time to time; I unsubscribe fast as hell =)

nagisa (Sep 26 2019 at 20:12, on Zulip):

Imagine those unfortunate folks who do not check their mail every 15 minutes

Pietro Albini (Sep 26 2019 at 20:13, on Zulip):

oh, I think that was my fault

Pietro Albini (Sep 26 2019 at 20:13, on Zulip):

I wake up... 60 new emails :joy:

nagisa (Sep 26 2019 at 20:13, on Zulip):

apparently there is a setting somewhere in github to disable auto-watch

nagisa (Sep 26 2019 at 20:14, on Zulip):

/me goes rummaging through github settings.

simulacrum (Sep 26 2019 at 20:34, on Zulip):

/me just.. watches rust-lang/rust by default :)

Vadim Petrochenkov (Sep 28 2019 at 08:13, on Zulip):

Ha, I'm subscribed to all repos in rust-lang{-nursery,-deprecated}.

Vadim Petrochenkov (Sep 28 2019 at 08:13, on Zulip):

It's quite useful to get a grasp on what's happening in general and what people are doing.

Vadim Petrochenkov (Sep 28 2019 at 08:14, on Zulip):

Most emails are read in header-only mode though and rejected as not interesting, so small number of important emails takes most of the time.

Vadim Petrochenkov (Sep 28 2019 at 08:17, on Zulip):

(Also a filter moving emails into their likely interesting-ness groups turned out handy.)

centril (Sep 28 2019 at 08:18, on Zulip):

@Vadim Petrochenkov I need to set up some filters; it would probably save me some time in the long run... but I can't be arsed short term :joy:

Does not work for me as the uninteresting stuff would keep coming back if it as otherwise active. I used to just look at the /issues fairly often and subscribe to the interesting stuff.
